As the winter is approaching, I wanted to take you to some other place, according to the autumn weather conditions :) But a friend of mine recently posted a story that I must share with you. It inspired me and reminded me that the blue paradises still exist, even in this cold rainy days.
Today, I wanna take you to the hearth of the Mediterranean - the Comino Island.
Situated between the island of Malta and the island of Gozo, it is the third largest island in the maltese archipelago. It is pure nature - car free, inhabited by a few handful people and mostly visited by tourists for a day trip. Named after the flowering plant "cumin" that grows on the island, it is ideal spot for photographers, as well as snorkelers, divers, windsurfers and ramblers. From rocky wilderness and jagged cliffs, to sandy beaches, creeks, deep caves and the crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon... enjoy the photo tour :)

Let`s go to Comino :)
One of the many Comino`s caves, the Pirate Cave. I am wondering if it was a home of a real pirates somewhere back in the past :)
For few euros, the ferries are willing to take you to the paradise :) and round back, now if you are willing tho :)))))
Comino at the horizon!
... and clear sea water...
The bottom-glass ferries are offering you unique underwater view, just to get to know the real Comino`s inhabitants :)
Who`s commin`?? Who`s commin`?? They are not curious, they are just welcoming you... Okay, they are pretty curious hosts :)
For the fishermen - you don`t need a fishing bat. Seriously. Just throw the net and prepare the grill :)
Welcome to Mediterranean paradise :)
Cheap and affordable for such a place, people don`t wanna waste a time... let`s go swimming :)))
The opposite side of the Blue Lagoon. You can make it there only walking and swimming (it is not deeper than 2 meters)
Another magic cave... As soon as you visit it you will see its magic...
A short trip to the next island Gozo. A must see also, since we are in the "neighborhood" :)
Panoramic view of Gozo.
Going back to Comino. This time from the other side of...
The Crystal Laguna :)
Now you know where the name come from, right? :)
Wanna swim? Jump?

On this place Adolph Hitler lost one of the ships in his fleet - a ship for cleaning the underwater mines. Sorry for the blur image made through the bottom glass of the ferry. :) Next time will be better :)
The filming location of the "Count of Monte Cristo"
"Monte Cristo" again :)
The Tower of Holy Mary at Comino...
... saying good bye as we head to the St. Paul`s Bay, back on Malta :)
A special thanks to my friend Zoran M. Ivanovski, the author of this beautiful photo tour of Comino. I certainly hope that he will continue to surprise us with many more stories of his adventures :) Thank you neighbor :)
